Simulink training provides learners with the skills to model, simulate, and analyze dynamic systems using this graphical programming environment. Participants learn to create block diagrams for system design, enabling them to model complex systems such as control systems, signal processing, and communications. The course covers key concepts such as working with Simulink blocks, running simulations, and analyzing simulation results to validate system performance. Advanced topics include integrating Simulink with MATLAB for script-based analysis, customizing block libraries, and automating simulations. Introduction to SIMULINK and Basic Modeling Introduction to SIMULINK Overview of SIMULINK as a graphical modeling environment. Introduction to SIMULINK interface and basic components: Blocks, lines, and subsystems. Setting up a SIMULINK model: Simple block diagrams and simulations. Working with Continuous Systems Modeling continuous systems: Transfer functions, integrators, and differential equations. Basic signal sources and sinks in SIMULINK. Practical exercise Signal Processing in SIMULINK Introduction to signal processing blocks: Filters, FFT, and discrete-time systems. Using SIMULINK for data acquisition and signal processing. Practical exercise Advanced SIMULINK Features and Control Systems Modeling Discrete Systems Introduction to discrete systems: Sampled data and zero-order hold. Creating and simulating discrete systems using SIMULINK. Practical exercise Designing Control Systems in SIMULINK Introduction to control systems in SIMULINK: PID controllers, state-space models. Creating feedback loops and analyzing control system performance. Practical exercise Simulating Hybrid Systems Introduction to hybrid systems: Combining continuous and discrete systems. Simulation strategies for hybrid systems and event handling. Practical exercise Advanced Simulation and MATLAB Integration Advanced Model Design and Optimization Using subsystems, libraries, and custom block creation for advanced models. Design optimization: Parameter tuning, optimization settings in SIMULINK. Practical exercise Simulink and MATLAB Integration Introduction to MATLAB-SIMULINK integration: Scripting, plotting, and advanced computations. Passing data between SIMULINK and MATLAB, using MATLAB functions in models. Practical exercise Modeling Real-Time Systems and Hardware Integration SIMULINK support for real-time systems and hardware integration. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation with SIMULINK.
