Writing your first VBA subroutine and function. Hands-on Exercise Working with Excel Objects in VBA: Introduction to Excel objects: Workbooks, Worksheets, Ranges, and Cells. Manipulating worksheet data using VBA (reading, writing, formatting). Hands-on Exercise Advanced Excel VBA Techniques and Automation Creating Custom Functions in VBA: Writing custom functions in VBA (User Defined Functions, UDFs). Using VBA to extend Excel’s built-in functions. Hands-on Exercise Working with Excel Forms and Controls: Designing interactive forms using VBA (TextBox, ComboBox, CommandButton). Adding event handlers to form controls. Hands-on Exercise Error Handling and Debugging VBA Code: Common errors in VBA and how to troubleshoot them. Implementing error-handling routines with On Error statements. Debugging techniques: breakpoints, watches, and step-through debugging. Hands-on Exercise Automating Excel Reports and User Interaction: Writing VBA code to automate the creation of reports and charts. Using VBA to send emails from Excel (outlook integration). Hands-on Exercise Final Project and Best Practices: Building mini-exercises that incorporates forms, automation, and custom functions.
