SysML with Rhapsody training teaches professionals how to use IBM Rational Rhapsody, a powerful modeling tool, in conjunction with the SysML (Systems Modeling Language) to design complex systems. The course covers SysML diagram types such as block definition, internal block, activity, and sequence diagrams to represent system components and behaviors effectively. Participants learn how to model system architectures, define system requirements, and allocate them across various subsystems using Rhapsody’s comprehensive features. The training also emphasizes best practices for model-based systems engineering (MBSE), including simulation, validation, and integration of models for real-world applications. By completing this training, professionals gain the skills to leverage SysML and Rhapsody for efficient system design, analysis, and documentation in multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Basic understanding of software modeling concepts.
Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts (recommended but not mandatory).
No prior experience with SysML or Rhapsody is required.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the fundamentals of SysML and its application in system modeling.
Navigate and use IBM Rhapsody for creating SysML diagrams.
Develop system models using various SysML diagram types in Rhapsody.
Perform requirements traceability and create system architecture models.
Gain hands-on experience using Rhapsody to implement and simulate system models.

SysML Concepts: Understanding of SysML modeling language and its diagrams.
Rhapsody Interface: Familiarity with the IBM Rhapsody interface and its modeling features.
System Architecture Modeling: Ability to model system architectures using SysML in Rhapsody.
Modeling Techniques: Proficiency in creating, editing, and simulating SysML models in Rhapsody.

Participants will be assessed on:

SysML Understanding: Knowledge of SysML diagram types and their usage.
Rhapsody Proficiency: Ability to create and navigate SysML models within Rhapsody.
Modeling Tasks: Successful completion of hands-on exercises to create basic models.
Simulation and Traceability: Ability to simulate models and demonstrate requirements traceability.

ProgNXT Certificate of Completion: Participants who attend all sessions and successfully complete the course assessments will receive a ProgNXT Certificate of Completion for SysML with Rhapsody Training.
